Vice President QIU Weifen meeting with the delegation

The two universities signing a memorandum of agreement

On November 21, Professor Corry Unis, Vice President of Fairfield University, paid a visit to NUFE. NUFE Vice President QIU Weifen met with the president and his delegation at Xianlin Campus. Prof. Qiu had a discussion with the delegation on further cooperation between the two universities.

Prof. Qiu extended her welcome to the delegation, and briefed them on the development of NUFE. She emphasized on the university’s resolution to promote internationalization. She mentioned that NUFE had been working for years to provide more choices for students to study overseas. Due to these factors, the delegation’s visit was believed to offer a good opportunity for NUFE to explore more exchange programs. Prof. Qiu therefore expressed her hope to enhance the cooperation with Fairfield University.

Prof. Unis expressed his thanks to NUFE’s reception. He pointed out the similarities between the two universities in school management and discipline settings, which laid a good foundation for further cooperation between the two sides. He hoped NUFE teachers and students could go to America for more communications.

The two sides had a good talk and signed a memorandum of agreement after the meeting.

Prof. SUN Danbing, Director of Office of Students’ Affairs, and Prof. HUANG Neng, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges also attended the meeting.
