Professor Hu Qing, Senior Associate Dean of Zicklin School of Business, CUNY Baruch College, visited NUFE in the afternoon of March 13. NUFE Chancellor Zhang Limin met with Prof. Hu in Xianlin Campus, and explored the cooperation between the two institutions.

Chancellor Zhang Limin welcomed Prof. Hu to visit NUFE. He said, Baruch College was a famous university with strong business programs, while NUFE focused on economics and finance. The two institutions had big potential to cooperate. Chancellor Zhang emphasized that internationalization was NUFE’S key strategy and tried to cooperate with world-famous universities. He hoped that the two institutions can conduct student programs, faculty exchanges, and can explore the possibility to establish a joint school.

Prof. Hu showed his gratitude to Chancellor Zhang for his hospitality and introduced Baruch College. He agreed with Chancellor Zhang’s suggestions. He hoped that by the chance of this visit, the two institutions can find the right area to conduct concrete cooperative programs.

People in the meeting included Huang Neng, Director of International Office; Cao Jie, Dean of School of Information Engineering; and Shen Yongjian, Deputy Dean of Accounting School.
