Student Association Affairs

Student associations at NUFE bring students and student communities together to foster the sense of belonging, gain the understanding of cultural diversity, create an appreciation for Chinese culture and prepare students for their roles in the future.

The Student Association Council of NUFE serves as the superior governing institution for student association affairs on campus. The Council is chaired by the Vice-President for Student Affairs and composed of administrators and experts in student affairs of NUFE. The Council reviews applications of new student associations and is also responsible for the annual inspection of registered student associations. The Youth League of NUFE is the coordinating department for all the student associations on campus.

Found Your Association

Based on the relevant university regulations, each student association at NUFE should adhere to the non-profit principle and obtain at least a mentor and a supervising entity of NUFE. It also has to obtain at least 20 enrolled students, who haven’t received any disciplinary sanctions from NUFE authorities. It is required to own complete and proper association chapter, which covers items including association’s name, type, mission, member qualification, rights and duties, organization, financial regulations, leader election, chapter amendment procedure, association termination and other necessary contents.

The organizer of the new association should submit following documents to the Youth League for approval: Student Association Application, Student Association Chapter, Resume of Organizer, Confirm Letters from Mentor and Supervising Department and other relevant documents.

Join Student Association

Each enrolled student of NUFE can join up to two student associations. Association members have the right to know associations’ chapters and systems, join, quite, give suggestions and inquiries about the management and events of associations.
