All the graduates taking an oath
On the morning of June 19, the 2019 Nanjing University of Finance & Economics Commencement was successfully held in the gym of Xianlin Campus. The university top leaders, heads of CPC Committee and administration offices, heads of schools and departments, teachers’ representatives, alumni’s representatives, relatives of some graduates, and all the graduates of 2019 attended this honorable ceremony to celebrate this wonderful moment together. President CHENG Yongbo attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Prof. WEN Panya, deputy secretary of NUFE CPC Committee, presided over the ceremony.
On behalf of all the faculty members and staff, President Cheng extended warm congratulations to all the graduates of 2019 on their successful completion of studies. President Cheng also expressed his thanks and respect to the parents who raised their children with arduous work, and the teachers who taught their students with careful guidance. He praised the mutual support and progress between the students and the university with gratitude.
President Cheng shared his ideas and hopes with the graduates. At the end of his speech, he encouraged the graduates to devote themselves to the greatest cause and emphasized the university’s strong and continuous support for them.
NUFE CPC Party Secretary ZHANG Limin, Vice President SHI Xian, Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary LI Qian, Vice President QIAO Jun and Vice President LI Qun attended the ceremony and awarded certificates and mementos to the graduates.
Prof. HU Xiaoming, the teacher representative and professor of School of Accounting, encouraged the students to cherish their dreams, insist on their original intentions, make solid progress, and go beyond themselves.
Ms. ZHANG Haixia, the alumni representative and graduate in finance of 2006, shared her college life and entrepreneurial experience. She suggested that the students should firmly adhere to their ideals, always remember their missions, and unremittingly strive for a new life.
LIU Xiaomin, the student representative, President of the Student Union, and student from School of Accounting, expressed his thanks to the seniors for their long-term concern and support, and wished them a bright future and splendid life.
On behalf of all the graduates of 2019, XUXin, the representative of undergraduates, and LIU Ting, the representative of postgraduates, paid high tribute and gratitude to all the university leaders, teachers and their parents. Bearing the NUFE motto “Modest. Self-Confident, Practical, Excelled” in mind, they promised to dedicate themselves to their work and the great Chinese dream.
At the end of the ceremony, all the graduates of 2019 took a solemn oath and sang the university anthem together. Accompanied by the loud singing, the 2019 graduation ceremony came to a successful conclusion.
